By setting a phone number as sender, you ensure that you don't share a message thread in the recipient's phone with other companies, as happens when using a shared number.
Receiving SMS replies and calls
Recipients can reply to the message as to a regular phone number. You don't need to change anything about how you use your number today. Callers can reach you whether you handle calls via a regular phone or use a PBX.
You can find incoming SMS messages in our web administration, or we can forward them to a specified email or API.
A phone number your customers already know
If you are in frequent contact with customers, it's advisable to use a phone number they already know.
You receive all SMS to email or you can view them in the web administration or retrieve them via API. Customers can call as usual and you receive the call as normally.
Frequently asked questions
What are the advantages of using a phone number as sender?
The advantage is that you can use your existing landline phone number. You can still use it for receiving and making calls, just as before.
Customers can always reply (unlike SMS with a text sender ID).
Your messages don't get mixed up with other messages in the phone (e.g., from banks, various newsletters, etc.).
Is it possible to set my mobile phone number as the sender?
No, unfortunately that is not technically possible.
What is the fee for setting up a phone number sender?
If you also use a virtual phone number, you can send messages from that purchased number.
If you want to use your own landline phone number, the message price (sending type: "virtual phone number") is increased by 0.20 CZK, and with at least 500 messages sent per month, no fee is charged.
