What makes RCS different?

SMS je součástí GSM sítí a je dostupné pro všechny mobilní telefony a operátory.RCS je nový komunikační protokol, který funguje díky připojení k internetu bez závislosti na GSM (musí podporovat konkrétní operátor).

SMS fungují na všech telefonech, které mají GSM signál

 RCS fungují na telefonech s Android 10+ a iOS 18+ (dohromady cca 50% telefonů v ČR). Pro příjem zpráv musí být telefon připojen k internetu

Zprávy jsou zobrazeny jen formou textu. Není možné sledovat otevření zpráv.

 Zprávy mohou obsahovat interaktivní prvky, jako jsou tlačítka, obrázky, video a další. Lze sledovat doručitelnost a přečtení zprávy.

Where can RCS be used?

Currently, we offer RCS in cooperation with T-Mobile Czech Republic for delivering messages to this network.

What if the recipient doesn't have RCS?

If the recipient doesn't have RCS, the message will be sent via SMS.

What is the price for sending RCS?

The price for sending RCS varies by message type. You can choose a basic message (up to 160 characters), which is comparable to the SMS price. You can also choose an interactive message (image, buttons, video, etc.), which is slightly more expensive. Another option is sending a so-called conversation message where you pay for 1 conversation (up to 24 hours) and messages within the conversation are free. The price per conversation is equivalent to the price of 2x SMS.
